A scarf with a hairdo no comb could ever tame.
The lawnmower walked right past it and found something else to do.

Smooth is just not its thing. I tied it and knitted it by hand from jersey, and the ends popped out like blades of grass refusing a haircut. The greens and the white chase each other all through it, and nobody is winning yet. Soft, a little unruly and very pleased with itself.
