Feather Without a Bird

A feather with a dreamy streak that prefers a pin to an inkwell.

It writes only in gold.

Materials

clay

This feather didn’t fall from a bird. There simply is no bird with feathers like these. It starts out blue, then drifts into a daydream of purple and pink. A golden vein runs down the middle, curving like a little path. I made it from clay and painted it. It leaves the flying to others.
